ART GALLERY IN CEDAR HILL CITY HALL
The Visual Artists of Cedar Hill (VACH) and the City of Cedar Hill are
bringing a new art exhibit to City Hall each month. Since May 2007
the halls of City Hall have become a gallery for local artists.
The new gallery opened in May with an exhibit of paintings by 15
VACH Members. Each month the work of an individual artist from
Cedar Hill or the surrounding communities will be showcased.
Exhibits will include many types of visual art, including paintings,
photography, collage and pastels. Artwork will be available for
viewing during City Hall’s normal business hours, Monday through
Friday, 8:00 a.m – 5:00 p.m.
City Hall is located at 502 Cedar Street, Cedar Hill. Go west on
Beltline from Hwy 67. Pass the signal light at Uptown Blvd. then
take a left at the second signal light (Main St.). One block down on
the right is City Hall at the corner of Main and Cedar Sts.

Wylie Library for a presentation on "Copyright for Artists" and the "Orphan Works Act of 2008", a Bill now pending before Congress.
